In 2026, LIGAAIR turns ten. Since 2016, as the official Swiss Casambi partner, we have installed more than 130,000 modules for wireless Bluetooth lighting control – in homes, offices, restaurants, churches, gardens and outdoor spaces across Switzerland.
Ten years, countless projects, over 130,000 Casambi modules installed: what began as a vision in 2016 is today a success story of smart lighting control in Switzerland. This milestone fills us with pride – and above all with gratitude towards everyone who has walked this path with us.
As part of LICHTTEAM AG, based in Rothenburg (Lucerne), we are the official Swiss Casambi partner, developing and distributing modules, components and complete solutions for wireless lighting control based on Casambi technology. From individual dimmers and switching modules through DALI interfaces to complete lighting control solutions for buildings and outdoor areas.
What is Casambi and how does the lighting control work?
Casambi is a wireless lighting control technology based on Bluetooth Low Energy. The Casambi modules automatically form what is known as a mesh network: each module communicates with the neighbouring modules – entirely without a central gateway, server or complex bus wiring. The lighting is controlled via the free Casambi app on a smartphone or tablet, via wall switches, or automatically through sensors, schedules and scenes.
