Does Casambi work without internet?

Yes! Casambi works completely without an internet connection. You don't need Wi-Fi or a cloud connection to control your light. Casambi uses its own Bluetooth mesh technology that communicates directly between your devices.

Why Casambi also works reliably offline:

1. Own Bluetooth mesh network ✅

Casambi establishes a decentralized wireless network between all lights, switches and sensors. Each device communicates directly with the others – without a router, without a hub, without an internet connection. If your Wi-Fi fails, your lighting control will remain fully functional.

2. Control directly from your smartphone ✅

The Casambi app connects directly to your network via Bluetooth. Internet access is not required for normal operation. Wall switches, switches and motion detectors also function completely autonomously.

3. Data protection and independence ✅

Your lighting control system does not send any data to the cloud. This means:
